NDSU Softball Drops Pair to South Dakota

VERMILLION, S.D. – North Dakota State softball dropped both games of a doubleheader with South Dakota on Friday, falling 4-0 and 5-1 in Summit League play at Nygaard Field. South Dakota took the lead in game one with a two-run home run in the third inning. They would go on to capitalize on two errors from NDSU to score another run in the third and then in the fourth. Clara Edwards scattered four Bison hits and had six strikeouts for the shutout win. Madison Wihlm picked up the loss, allowing four runs, two earned, on five hits with five strikeouts....
