WestConn Softball Wins One Of Two Close Games Against Southern Maine

DANBURY, Conn. – Freshman RHP Lindsay Farinacchio (Red Hook, N.Y.) pitched a complete game with two strikeouts to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a 2-1 victory over the visiting University of Southern Maine Huskies in Little East Conference (LEC) softball action this afternoon on Westside Field. WestConn, which was barely edged, 5-4, in the first game of today’s doubleheader, finishes the regular season with a 16-22 record and a 7-9 mark in the Little East.
