FHSAA Baseball: Regional tournaments set to begin; six area teams make it to postseason

All roads lead to Fort Myers, at least for the FHSAA baseball state championship. Six area baseball teams through Escambia and Santa Rosa counties are in survive-and-advance mode, as they made the postseason. Regional brackets were released Saturday morning by the FHSAA. Four teams were automatically moving on after winning district championships: Pace (Class 6A), Escambia (Class 5A), Pensacola Catholic (Class 3A) and Jay (Class 1A).
