Grinnell takes it to Blueboys in opener of 3-game baseball set

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s baseball team broke out to an early lead and then poured it on as the Pioneers roared past Illinois College 13-3 in the opening game of a three-game set Saturday afternoon at Pioneer Park. Grinnell (8-13 Midwest Conference, 15-22 overall) pounded out 15 hits and got a stellar one-two pitching punch from Ian Feld ’25 and Jakob Runkel ’26.
