Lacrosse Sends Seniors Off With a Double-Overtime Thriller; Defeat Shippensburg 11-10

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg lacrosse team sent their seniors out in style with an 11-10 double overtime win over Shippensburg on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Trailing 6-4 at halftime, the Huskies came out firing in the third quarter. Marykate Sitko (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) pulled the Huskies within one, 6-5, with her second of the game at the 7:28 mark. Graduate student Kate Roberts (Lehman, Pa./Lake Lehman) knotted the game at 6-6 with 4:05 to play in the quarter thanks to an assist from Katie Fluck (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) .
