Men’s, Women’s Track & Field Take Third at Patriot League Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams placed third at the 2024 outdoor Patriot League Championships. BU combined for seven titles, six silver medals and seven bronze medals at the two-day meet. Additionally, sophomore Vera Sjöerg was named the women's track athlete of the meet for her individual performances. Top Dogs Sjöberg claimed the 5,000m title in 16:38.42 to help BU win the event for the third year in a row. She also ran 4:30.30 in the 1,500m to successfully defend her 2023 title run.
