PREP SOFTBALL: Central splits doubleheader with Wheatland
CHEYENNE — Cheyenne Central's girls softball team dropped the conference portion of its double header with Wheatland on Saturday, falling 6-1 in extra innings. The Indians trailed 1-0 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, but tied the game thanks to a RBI single by Bailey Martinez. However, the Indians surrendered five runs in the top of the eighth inning and were unable to get any runners on base in their final inning at the plate.
