Women’s Tennis Falls in Liberty League Semis

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women’s tennis team saw their run in the Liberty League Tournament end on Satruday afternoon, as the Engineers were defeated by Skidmore College by a 5-0 final score. Skidmore took all three matches in doubles play, with the grouping of Prisha Rapur and Brooke Bauer putting up the toughest battle at No. 3 doubles in an 8-5 loss. In singles play, Skidmore found victoiries at No. 3 and No. 6 singles to give the Throughbreds the five points needed for victory. All other matches in singles play went unfinished.
