Billings Royals split doubleheader by defeating Missoula, losing to Rapid City
BILLINGS — The Billings Royals went 1-1 in their first two home games of the American Legion baseball season Saturday, defeating the Missoula Mavericks 5-3 before losing 10-5 to Rapid City (South Dakota) in a Pirtz Field doubleheader. The Royals won their first game in come-from-behind fashion, turning a 3-2 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning into a lead after a three-run frame.
