DU Women’s Lacrosse Set to Play Stanford in Northwestern Regional

DENVER – The University of Denver women's lacrosse team will travel to the Northwestern Regional as a part of the opening weekend of the national tournament, it was announced during the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday night. The Pioneers will take on the Stanford Cardinal in the first round at 12 p.m. MT on Friday, May 10. Denver secured an automatic bid into the NCAA postseason by winning the Big East Conference tournament championship on Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati, Ohio.
