Oxford takes series opener against Madison Central
By Adam Brown Sports writer The Oxford Chargers defeated Madison Central 5-3 in the opening game of the playoff series. Oxford (22-10) took a 1-0 lead over Madison Central in the first on a sacrifice fly to left field off the bat of Brady Stinnett. Oxford gave the ball to Stinnett as the starter and he made quick work of Madison Central through the first three innings on the mound only allowing two hits.
