Rhode Island Track & Field Places 10th at A10 Championship with Impressive Performances

KINGSTON, R.I. – The Rhode Island women’s track & field team finished 10th at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship, which wrapped up Sunday afternoon in Fairfax, Va. Virsavia Goretoy was Rhody’s lone champion at the meet, winning the 100m Hurdles in 13.70 seconds. Her personal best time also makes her the fourth-fastest individual in URI history.
