Thewes improves is Steeple NCAA Provisional Time and Senators win three events at WVU Last Chance

Morgantown, WV – Competing at the WVU Last Chance meet on Saturday night, Jan Thewes ran his fourth NCAA Provisional time qualifier of the outdoor track season. The Junior, Thewes ran away from the field winning the 3000m Steeple by nearly 26-seconds and breaking his school record yet again. His time of 8:58.45 was his first time under the 9-minute barrier in the event. Thewes is still sitting in position to make the NCAA Outdoor Track National Championships with one weekend to go.
