Walters Medals in Two Events, Team Sits in Fifth Through Day One of Landmark Outdoor Champs

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Juniata men’s track and field team opened up Landmark Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships on a rainy Saturday, as Barrett Walters earned medals in two events, and the team ended day one in fifth place in the points. Walters earned second place in the hammer throw with a mark of 48.79 meters, his second straight medal in the event at Conference Championships, and his third straight medal at Landmarks with a second-place mark of 47.35 meters in the javelin throw.
