Four local soccer, lacrosse teams qualify for playoffs

Seedings were finalized and playoff brackets were released Sunday for girls soccer and lacrosse with four local teams qualifying for the postseason, two in each sport. In boys lacrosse, Resurrection Christian and Thompson Valley both got into the 32-team Class 4A field. In just its third season playing boys lacrosse, RCS is in the playoffs for the third time, only this year the Cougars will host a first-round game for the first time.
