Sorensen sets Hanover record in the 800-meter run

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers hit the road for a last chance meet at Indiana University competing as part of the Billy Hayes Invitational. In the 800-meter run, senior Amberleigh Sorensen (Yorktown, Ind.) added to her record setting season as she broke the Hanover College record with a time of 2:14.88. The time landed her 11 th in the event. Junior Jessie Stenger (Brookville, Ind.) claimed 11 th in the discus throw with a distance of 41.99 meters.
