10 best pitchers from the 2024 college softball season
Maddia Groff, Southern Illinois
It was a storybook debut for Groff when she tossed a perfect game with twin sister Rylinn behind the plate. This would just be the beginning of a historic freshman campaign. The Salukis star finished out the season with a measly 0.70 ERA in 190 ⅔ innings. SIU went on to win the MVC Regular-Season Championship and it could not have been done without the heroics of Groff. She has the potential to become one of the faces of the sport in the next few years.
