Baseball, Softball: Cortland Baseball and Softball Teams Begin SUNYAC Tournament Play Thursday

The SUNY Cortland baseball and softball teams will compete in their respective State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournaments beginning on Thursday, May 9. The Red Dragon baseball team (28-10-1) is the top seed in a four-team, double-elimination tournament and will be the host school. Cortland will face fourth-seeded Plattsburgh Thursday at noon, followed by second-seeded New Paltz versus third-seeded Oswego at 3:30 p.m. The tournament continues with three games Friday and two Saturday, with a make-up day, if needed, on Sunday.
