Mountain View topples Thompson Valley in windy slugfest
Thompson Valley’s home diamond was an absolute hitter’s paradise on Tuesday afternoon. With strong winds blowing out, the Eagles (15-6, 13-3 Class 4A Longs Peak League) and crosstown rival Mountain View (7-13, 6-10 LPL) combined for 53 runs and 48 hits, including seven that left the yard.
