GULFPORT, Miss. – Essence Gibbs had two hits for Bethune-Cookman Tuesday morning, but it was Texas Southern claiming a 6-2 win in the opening game of the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament at Gulfport Sportsplex.
