10 best hitters from the 2024 college softball season

Wichita State hasn’t had the year that some players’ teams have who are on this list, but the Shockers have been able to watch one of the top hitting talents in all of college softball throughout the year with Wong. The 5-foot-4 infielder has had a nice ascension throughout her collegiate career which began at the JUCO level as she became the 2022 NJCAA Division I co-Player of the Year before starring at Grand Canyon last year. With the Shockers, Wong has hit .476, the second-best batting average in the country. Her .571 on-base percentage is also the third-best mark in the nation. Wong has hit for power as well with a .888 slugging percentage, racking up 14 home runs, 48 RBIs and 68 hits overall as the AAC Player of the Year.
