Lady Pirates fall to district opponents

West Side softball suffered losses to Bear Lake and Malad last week. They opened the 2A District 5 softball tournament in Malad on May 6 as the fourth seed (score unavailable at press time). Their second game of the tournament was on May 7 (information unavailable at press time) The Championship game is on Wednesday, May 8, at 3:30 p.m. at the high seed field. The Lady Pirates lost on the road to Malad 0-16 on May 3 and 0-15 to Bear Lake on May 1. April 30 was another road loss to Malad 1-18.
