New Lex clinches MVL title, ups record to 18–2
THORNVILLE — New Lexington secured an outright MVL championship with their 7-4 win over West Muskingum last week, thanks in part to a 13-hit performance from the speedy Panthers lineup. Four different Panthers recorded multi-hit games while senior pitcher Isaac McGill pitched a complete game, giving up three earned runs and striking out 11.
