Sauras advance with win over the Villains

WALNUT COVE – No. 21 South Stokes advanced to the second round of the NCHSAA State 1A playoffs on Tuesday, May 7 with a 10-6 win over No. 12 seed Bishop McGuinness. The Sauras scored six runs in the top of the third inning and two more in the fourth to take control of the game.
