South holds off late Danville rally
DANVILLE — Alizabeth Shuler knocked in three runs, and got the final two outs in the bottom of the seventh to lift South Williamsport to a 7-5 victory over Danville in nonleague softball on Wednesday. The Mounties (14-2) took a 4-0 lead on Shuler's three-run homer in the third inning, and would led 6-0 with Kendall Cardone in the circle.
