COLUMBUS, Ohio. (BVM) – A university can spend a staggering eight figures annually to keep its college football program running.
Take a look at the top 10 biggest spenders in college football from the 2023 fiscal year (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023). This entails the “total operating expense” figure that D-I schools reported to the EADA under the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act. Note that private institutions such as Miami, Notre Dame and Southern California were left out of this data set.
