RED OAK – Clarinda’s top doubles team: freshman Creighton Bird and junior Brady Cox advanced to the semifinals and finished fourth at the Class 1A Boys District Tennis Tournament, held Wednesday, May 8, in Red Oak. The two wins for Bird and Cox were the only two of the day for the Cardinals as their other three entries all lost in the first round.
