Rebels acquire Wilke from Hurricanes

RED DEER – Red Deer Rebels General Manager Brent Sutter today announced that the club has completed a trade with the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The Rebels have acquired forward Trae Wilke (’06, Saskatoon) from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a fourth-round pick, 84th overall at the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft, and a fourth-round pick at the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft. Wilke collected 25 points in 68 games with the Hurricanes in 2023-24.
