Top 10 breakout candidates for the 2024 WNBA season
Lexie Brown, G, Los Angeles Sparks
Brown is one of the oldest players on this list as she was a first-round draft pick back in 2018 by the Connecticut Sun. She was decent during stops with the Lynx and the Sky following her rookie season, but has begun coming into her own the last two years in Los Angeles. Last season, the 5-foot-9 guard was playing a career-high 30.3 minutes per game and was putting up strong numbers overall before an illness sidelined her for the remainder of the campaign. Provided she is healthy heading into 2024, Brown could be in store for a career year as she should find plenty of opportunity with the Sparks in a rebuild phase.
