Women’s track and field athletes move up Bates record books at Farley Inter Regional

WILLAMSTOWN, Mass. — A pair of Bobcats shined in the 5,000 meters, and a number of Bates women’s track and field athletes impressed Friday and Saturday at the Farley Inter Regional Extravaganza, hosted by Williams College. Senior captain Kahryn Cullenberg (Farmington, Maine) finished in 11th place in the 5K in a field of 36 athletes with her time of 17:32.39. This smashed her previous personal record by more than seven seconds and moved Cullenberg into seventh place on the Bates all-time performance list in the event.
