Ranking the top 10 greatest New York Yankees of all time
6. Yogi Berra, C (1946-63)
Berra’s combination of skill and personality made him one of the most beloved players of his time. When he wasn’t cracking jokes or talking trash, he was collecting accolades. Berra made 15 straight All-Star teams, won 10 World Series championships and earned three AL MVP awards. His 2,116 games played are fourth in franchise history and his 358 home runs rank fifth. Berra was a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 1972.
