Six Tigers Earn All-NCAC Softball Accolades; Romero-Salas and Depa Take Top Honors

Greencastle, Ind. – In voting by the conference’s coaches, six DePauw student-athletes were selected to the all-North Coast Athletic Conference softball team including a pair who garnered the league’s top awards. Alex Romero-Salas (So., Paranaque City, Philippines/Calvert Academy) was selected as the conference’s Pitcher of the Year after posting a 3-0 record with two saves in NCAC games with a 1.54 earned run average. She appeared in 10 of the Tigers’ 14 conference contests and struck out 40 in 41.0 innings with just seven walks.
