Lions pushing ‘93 Herrin team for best I’ve seen in region

The Carterville Lions softball team has put together one of the best seasons in school history, as well as one of the best in Southern Illinois history. Their 32-game win streak and counting made me pause to wonder if the Lions are the best prep team I've seen play here in Southern Illinois.
