Ayhan Highlights Day One At NCAA East Preliminaries

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Graduate student Kerem Ayhan highlighted the Northeastern track & field program's first day at the 2024 NCAA East Preliminary Rounds at the University of Kentucky on Wednesday. The Hackettstown, New Jersey native recorded the fifth-best time in the first round of the 800m run, finishing fifth in the final heat at 1:47.82. That time was good enough for him to be one of six qualifiers on time in the event.
