Armstrong completes run at NCAA East Preliminaries

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Competing against some of the top sprinters in the country, VMI junior Eleyah Armstrong completed her 2024 outdoor season in the 100-meter dash Thursday evening at the NCAA Track and Field East Preliminaries hosted by the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. The Hampton, Virginia, native competed in the sixth and final heat of the event and came in seventh place in her group in 11.80 seconds, which resulted in 46th place overall for the event.
