Lewis Softball Junior Delaney Garden Named D2CCA All-American Honorable Mention

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced Thursday (May 23) that Lewis utility/pitcher Delaney Garden (Carpentersville, IL/Harry D. Jacobs High School) was named a 2024 D2CCA All-American Honorable Mention. Garden, a two-way player, also was awarded first team honors for All-GLVC, NFCA Midwest Region and D2CCA Midwest Region. The junior finished the season 18-10 with a 1.54 ERA in 190.2 innings pitched while also throwing 205 strikeouts and issuing only 23 walks. The Carpentersville, Illinois native also led the Flyers with a .370 batting average, 74 total hits, 15 doubles, 25 RBI and 29 runs scored....
