2. Ted Williams, LF
Born in San Diego, Williams spent his 19-year career with the Boston Red Sox and won two AL MVP awards. He frequently led the league in many batting categories, including on-base percentage 12 times and home runs four times. Williams is MLB’s all-time leader with a .482 on-base percentage and ranks 20th with 521 homers. The National Baseball Hall of Fame inducted Williams in 1966.
