Ugonna Onyenso transferring: 5 possible landing spots
LEXINGTON, Ky. (BVM) – Ugonna Onyenso proved to be a solid player at the University of Kentucky, but after head coach John Calipari left, he decided to declare for the NBA draft as well as enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Onyenso pulled his name out of the draft prior to Wednesday’s withdrawal deadline and is now looking for a new school. The 7-foot rising junior started in 14 games for the Wildcats last season averaging 2.8 blocks in 18.6 minutes.
