Tommy LaPour transferring: 5 possible landing spots
WICHITA, Kan. (BVM) – Wichita State’s Tommy LaPour showed the type of pitcher he can be throughout his freshman year, being named second-team all-conference and winning the AAC Newcomer of the Year Award.
The 6-foot-4 righthander finished his campaign with a 4.25 ERA and a .225 batting average against. The Blue Springs, Missouri, native is already considered an early-round draft prospect in the 2026 class.
By the end of the first day of the transfer portal officially open, at least 7 Wichita State baseball players joined more than 1,400 players from across the country in the portal.

LaPour entered the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday, making him the top arm available. These are five schools that could use LaPour for the next couple of seasons.
