The Demon Deacons have become a pitching factory, which made them enticing enough to land Tennessee transfer Chase Burns last year. He went on to win ACC Pitcher of the Year in 2024. The program is now expected to lose Burns, Josh Hartle and Michael Massey this offseason. Johnson could fill a hole for Wake Forest as he tries to find the best place to where he can reach his ceiling. There should be mutual interest here.
