Kailey Wyckoff transferring: 5 possible landing spots

LUBBOCK, Texas (BVM) – Texas Tech standout Kailey Wyckoff has entered the college softball transfer portal following two terrific seasons with the Red Raiders.

Wyckoff was a state champion at Katy High School in Texas and burst on the scene upon arriving in Lubbock, earning Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors in 2023 as she hit .393 with nine home runs and 31 RBIs.

The 5-foot-7 catcher and outfielder continued her ascension into a first-team All-Big 12 performer this past season as she led the Red Raiders with a .407 batting average to go along with seven home runs, 35 RBIs and 59 hits overall.

Wyckoff is one of the top names available in the portal and should garner plenty of interest with two years of eligibility remaining. Here are five possible landing spots for Wyckoff.
