Kailey Wyckoff transferring: 5 possible landing spots

Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee is coming off an SEC-championship season and has the talent in place to compete for a league title once again next year despite the additions of Oklahoma and Texas to the conference. However, a couple of roster additions this offseason certainly couldn’t hurt and Wyckoff might be a potential target. Tennessee does have a talented catcher already with Sophia Nugent, but it will lose important bats in its lineup including Kiki Milloy and Rylie West. Wyckoff feels like a fitting replacement for West in particular as she spent time at catcher and in the outfield for the Vols. Making a transfer to Knoxville even more likely is the fact that Wyckoff’s head coach at Texas Tech, Craig Snider, recently accepted an assistant coach position at Tennessee.
