Luke Gaffney transferring: 5 possible landing spots
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (BVM) – Purdue first baseman Luke Gaffney was not a national recruit coming out of Boyle County High School in Danville, Kentucky, but now a couple of years later, the redshirt freshman is one of the biggest sluggers in the NCAA transfer portal.
The Boilermakers’ star finished the season with a 1.065 OPS while hitting .349. This was enough for Gaffney to win Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
Gaffney should be a priority for many schools across the country, but these are the programs that could value him the most.
