Isaiah Hartenstein’s free agency: 5 possible landing spots
NEW YORK (BVM) – Isaiah Hartenstein signed with the New York Knicks prior to the 2022-23 season on a two-year, $16-million contract. His deal has been one of the better values across the league over that time. The 7-foot center averaged 8.3 rebounds, 7.8 points, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks this past season.
Unfortunately for New York, it may not be able to keep him.
The Knicks will likely prioritize unrestricted free agent OG Anunoby, who they gave up Immanuel Quickly and RJ Barrett for in December.
Hartenstein could command over $20 million annually in the free agent market and should have plenty of suitors. These are the teams that could look to outbid New York.
