7. Y.A. Tittle, QB (1944-47)

Tittle started strongly in Baton Rouge, setting a school record with 238 passing yards in a single game during his rookie season. He added five other records by the end of his LSU career, including total passing yards with 2,517 and total touchdown passes with 21. Tittle was a first-team All-SEC quarterback twice and joined the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 1972.
