Memphis holds the No. 9 pick in this year’s draft, and while that seems like it could be a bit of a reach to snag Edey, he may have boosted his stock enough to become a lottery pick. Memphis had a poor 2023-24 season as superstar Ja Morant played in just nine games, but the Grizzlies won over 50 games each of the two seasons prior and may only be a couple of pieces away from contending in the West. One thing Memphis could use to get to that point is size and Edey could bring just that. His pick-and-roll ability could also work well with Morant and his post presence would free things up for the versatile Jaren Jackson Jr.
