Teams that rallied to win playoff series after 3-0 deficit
Toronto Maple Leafs, 1942
The 1942 Stanley Cup Final was historic. It is the only reverse sweep in a championship series in North American sports history and it was also the first time the Stanley Cup was decided in seven games. Game 7 set a Canadian record of 16,218 fans as the Maple Leafs beat the Detroit Red Wings by a score of 3-1. Toronto had four players from that team inducted into the Hall of Fame.
