Five named to Academic All-Big 12 Men’s Basketball Team

IRVING, Texas — A total of five University of Texas Men's Basketball players have earned spots on the 2024 Academic All-Big 12 Men's Basketball Team, the league office announced Tuesday. Graduate Brock Cunningham, graduate Dylan Disu, junior Tyrese Hunter, sophomore Dillon Mitchell and redshirt sophomore Gavin Perryman were named to the First Team. Cunningham earned his fifth career selection to the academic all-league team, as he also earned first-team honors in 2022 and 2023 and second-team mention in 2020 and 2021.
