10 of the most notable players competing in TBT 2024
PHILADELPHIA (BVM) – The Basketball Tournament (TBT) will tip off in July and recently, the 64-team field for the event was revealed. TBT 2024 will be the 11th edition of the annual summer event which will again feature a $1 million winner-take-all prize.
After Overseas Elite dominated the competition early in the event’s history with four straight titles from 2015-18, there has been a new champion each year since, including Heartfire in 2023. Heartfire will be back to defend its title in 2024 and will be joined by several talented teams ranging from alumni squads to rosters comprised of former Division II and Division III college basketball stars.
The first round of the event will be held across eight cities beginning on July 19 while the championship game will be held in Philadelphia on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 2:00 p.m. ET on Fox.
With 64 teams in this year’s event, a lot of talent is ready to take the floor including many former collegiate basketball stars, some former NBA players and even a recognizable former NFL cornerback. Here are 10 of the most notable players competing in the 2024 edition of TBT.
