Chase Mars and David Phillips Secure Spots in 200m Semifinals at U.S. Olympic Trials

EUGENE, Ore.—CSUN Track & Field sprinters Chase Mars and David Phillips, Jr. each advanced in the 200m at the 2024 United States Olympic Team Trials on Thursday evening at historic Hayward Field. Both Mars and Phillips will compete in the 200m semifinal round on Friday evening. Both placed in Heat 4, Mars and Phillips finished fourth and fifth, respectively, out of the seven-athlete heat.
